NOTE: “domainname” includes your .com, .net, .org or applicable extension, such as “briworks.com”
- Open Mac Mail.
- Click on “Preferences” from the Mail menu in the top toolbar.
- Click the “Accounts” tab.
- Within the “Accounts” tab, click on the plus (+) sign in the bottom left corner to create your new account:

- A dialog box will appear, this is where you will enter your general account information:

- Set the”Account Type” to POP3.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Click “Continue”.
- Set the incoming mail server to mail.domainname.
- Enter your username and password for your email account.
- Click “Continue”.

- Set the outgoing mail server to mail.domainname.
- Make sure “Use Authentication” is checked.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click “Continue”.

- When the setup process has completed, you’ll see a window that summarizes your connections. Click “Done” to finish the setup, make sure that “Take account online” is checked, and click “Create”.
