Creating and managing FTP accounts
How to create an FTP account in your BRI Linux hosting package
Step 1: You will need to log into your BRI hosting control panel by doing the following:
A.) Open up a web browser and navigate to the following URL: https://www.brihosting.com/cp.
B.) Once here, enter in your username and password that were sent to you by the “admin@brihosting.com” email address when your hosting package was created and click “Sign In” (the username will be the primary contact email address of the hosting package administrator).
Step 2: Once you have logged into your control panel, click on the “System” tab on the top left corner of the web page.
Step 3: On the left hand side of the web page click the “Setup” link under the “Hosting” section of the left most column. Click this link.
Step 4: On the next page locate the “Account Preferences” section. Here is where you will create your new FTP account. Enter in the desired username and password of your FTP account and then click the “OK” button at the bottom of the screen (Note: remember to make your password strong, include numbers, letters and symbols.)
Your FTP account has been created.
