Hosted Exchange Setup Guide for Microsoft Entourage 2004
PREREQUISITES:
- You must install SP2 for Mac Office & Entourage - the download can be found here. Go to Help -> About; if the version is either 11.0.X or 11.1.X, then you need to install SP2 first. If the version is 11.2.X, then you already have SP2.
- Once SP2 for Mac Office & Entourage has been installed, please download & install the latest update, 11.2.1 available here.
SETUP STEPS:
From inside Entourage 2004, Click on Tools, then select Accounts. Click on the Exchange tab, click on New, click on Configure account manually
Account Name: Enter a Title, such as BRI Exchange Mail
Personal Information:
Name: First and Last Name
Email Address: Primary Email Address
Server Information:
Account ID: Specify this as your downlevel username. You must obtain this from your Hosted Exchange control panel, or request this from BRI Support.
Domain: MAIL
Password: Password for your account
Exchange Server: http://outlookonline.briworks.net/exchange
This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) — Check
Override default DAV port: 443 (default) — Unchecked by default
Now click on Advanced. Fill in “Public Folder Server” with “http://outlookonline.briworks.net/exchange“. Click “This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL). Click Ok.
Click Ok.
