Configure Droid POP3

NOTE:
“domainname” includes your .com, .net, .org or applicable extension, such as “briworks.com”

  • Open the Applications tray, select “My Accounts”.

  • Select “Add Account”, you will be at the Set-Up accounts menu with several social network icons.
  • Select “Email” icon.

  • Enter your email address and password.

  • Select POP3 from the list of account types.

  • Enter the incoming server settings:

    Username: yourname@domainname
    Password:  email password
    POP3 Server: mail.domainname
    Port: 110
    Security Type: None
    Delete email from server: Never (if you change this setting, email will be removed from the server after it is pulled down to your device and may not be available on other devices)

  • Click Next.

  • Enter the outgoing server settings:

    SMTP Server: mail.domainname
    Port: 587
    Security Type: None
    Check the box for “Require Sign-in”
    Enter email address and password

  • Click Next.

  • Select your preference for mail frequency, click Next.

  • You can now give your account a name and select the display name that will be used on outgoing messages.  Click Done.
