Network Engineer
We pride ourselves in running the best network in the area and are looking for an experienced networking rocket scientist to join our team and make us better. Does this sound like you? Are you passionate about technology? If so, BRI is looking to hire someone like you to join our Data Services team. You’ll be joining a great team in charge of engineering and maintaining great systems for our customers. We’re looking for someone who has built and managed network infrastructure in a production environment and understands the impact of their changes.
You’ll be helping our team create mission-critical infrastructure using the latest technologies from Cisco, Juniper, and Calix. Show us a thing or two about how to better use these technologies. After all, your job will be to help us manage and improve our existing infrastructure.
We highly leverage BGP, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, SMTP and lots of other acronyms. We expect you to be facile with them as well. BRI values automation and your ability to create more so please be familiar with a scripting language like Perl, Python, or Ruby. This position does involve being in an off-hour on-call rotation.

You must live in the Charlottesville area.
